MEET OUR GROUP

Founded with the arrival of Prof. Dr. Sandra Cruz at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), the Research Group on Recycling and Modification of Polymers (ReMoPol) is dedicated to the study and development of polymeric materials. At present, the group’s main interests include:

• Modification and additivation of polymers, with an emphasis on surface treatments and plasma application;
• Recycling and valorisation of polymers, adding value to recycled materials;
• Development of innovative solutions for sectors such as food packaging, textiles, and disposable materials.

Our mission is to contribute technically and scientifically to society, promoting integration between the University and the public and private sectors, driving the transition towards a more sustainable future.
